AirSports was founded as a sports representation firm in 1983 by its Chairman, Alan Nero. Since then, AirSports has more than 20 years of experience managing the careers of professional athletes. From its first client Cecil Cooper of the Milwaukee Brewers, to the present, AirSports has been an innovator offering full-service management and multi-media enabled marketing solutions to meet the diverse needs of its athlete clients.

In 1999, AirSports embarked on a strategy to diversify its business portfolio and build the infrastructure to enable its growth. To this end, AirSports hired Thomas M. Kang as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer. Between 2000 and 2004, Mr. Kang led the execution of AirSports strategy through acquisitions and organic growth resulting in double digit compounded annual growth rate.

Today, AirSports is an integrated sports and entertainment management firm based in the Chicago area based that operates in five distinct business segments including talent management, talent marketing, corporate consultancy, event marketing and media production. Some of AirSports notable clients include Donovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles, Randy Johnson of the New York Yankees and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, athletes for whom AirSports has negotiated some of the most lucrative playing contracts and endorsement opportunities. AirSports also provides sports and entertainment branding solutions to its corporate clients including several fortune 100 companies. AirSports also creates sports related media content with its media production partners utilizing its access to sports and entertainment talent and properties.
